Online stores in Dushanbe: where to shop online in Tajikistan
Marketplaces, classifieds boards, electronics, furniture and grocery stores and other specialist online shops in Dushanbe: what you can buy on these websites and how to choose the right one.
Shopping online in Dushanbe is not limited to one or two big websites. There are marketplaces with nationwide delivery, classifieds boards, specialist online stores and supermarket chains. Below is a selection of such sites, grouped by what you can find on them, along with a few tips on choosing the right one.
Marketplaces, classifieds and product search
If you need many different things at once, general platforms are the easiest place to start. LakLak Market is an online marketplace with a mobile app and delivery across Tajikistan to your home, a pickup point or a parcel locker. Its range includes clothing, footwear, groceries, beauty, home and kitchen, sports, children's goods, jewellery and electronics.
There are several similar platforms:
- AVVAL.TJ: a marketplace with goods for home, children and business, from electronics to clothing, browsable by category and city, with delivery and instalment options;
- Alif Shop: an online store delivering across Tajikistan, selling home appliances, electronics, auto goods, books, and home and kids' products, with online payment or instalments;
- OBBO: electronics, clothing and footwear, home appliances and household goods with courier delivery or pickup; sellers can join the platform;
- Webmarket: smartphones, kitchen, beauty, school and office goods, furniture, shoes, toys and more;
- Boron Marketplace: appliances, consumer electronics, gadgets and car accessories from multiple sellers, with discounts and nationwide delivery.
Ubuy Tajikistan is an international online store through which shoppers in Tajikistan can order imported goods: electronics, apparel, mobile phones, beauty products and other categories from stores in various countries.
For buying from private sellers, classifieds boards are the natural choice. On Lalafo, individuals and businesses post free listings for new and used goods, real estate, vehicles, electronics, jobs and services across the country's towns. The same group includes the Somon classifieds board and the Bozor online market, as well as the free boards 5shanbe.tj (Panchshanbe) and OLA.TJ and the classifieds site of Reklamnaya Gazeta, where you can buy, sell or rent out real estate, cars, electronics and other goods and look for jobs in Dushanbe, Khujand and other regions.
Geedo helps compare offers from different shops: it is a search and comparison service for products of Tajikistan's online stores. From there you can also switch to Geedo regional sites for other countries.
Groceries, supermarkets and malls
Groceries with delivery in Dushanbe are sold by MAGNIT.TJ, whose catalogue covers food, drinks, household chemicals and other goods, with discounts and online payment. The Paykar supermarket chain publishes promotions, its loyalty programme, grocery delivery, the Paykar Wallet service, store addresses and vacancies.
Before a trip to the mall you can check the Siyoma Mall website, which lists the mall's shops, restaurants and entertainment, floor maps and news.
Specialist online stores

For business. Foodpack sells packaging wholesale and retail, KLEN offers professional equipment for restaurants, cafés and bars with delivery to Dushanbe, and Abutment supplies components for implantology and dental laboratories. TechnoMarket sells optical cable, fibre-optic and telecom equipment and tools, priced in somoni and US dollars.
How to choose where to buy
- Decide on the type of platform: a marketplace suits everyday shopping, a classifieds board suits deals with private sellers, and a specialist store suits a narrow range of goods.
- Check payment and delivery terms: Abutment and PRO Mebel, for example, publish this information on their sites.
- For expensive purchases, compare instalment and credit terms: they are offered by AVVAL.TJ, Alif Shop, Mi Tajikistan and Volna, for example.
- Use the cart, favourites and personal account where available, so it is easier to return to the items you picked.
