Tajikistan business websites: companies, consulting and law
A guide to Tajikistan company websites: chambers and business clubs, entrepreneur support, tenders and grants, distributors and holding groups, consultants, lawyers and digital services for business.
Tajikistan's business web is more than product showcases. Company websites offer product catalogues, cooperation terms for partners, job openings, descriptions of consulting and legal services, and online tools for businesses. We have put together a selection of sites from different industries and grouped them by what the companies do.
Business associations and market infrastructure
If you are looking for business contacts or entering the Tajik market, association websites are a good place to start. The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan supports entrepreneurship and foreign economic ties; its site publishes chamber news and announcements of exhibitions and business events, and is available in Tajik, Russian and English. AmCham Tajikistan, the American Chamber of Commerce in Tajikistan, describes its membership terms, board of directors and executive team, events and resources for members and investors. The Sharikoni Milli Business Club brings together owners and top managers of medium-sized and large companies and accepts membership applications through its site.
Some projects focus on transparency and trust in the market. EGUM is a programme certifying organisations against a business integrity standard: visitors can read the standard, verify a certificate, apply and browse certified businesses. CRIF works in credit and business information, analytics and digital solutions, including open banking; the site leads to the company's global portal with links to its offices, including the one in Tajikistan. The Central Depository is the central settlement institution of the country's securities market; its site brings together services, documents and news. The Chrysotile Association represents an industry body, with news, publications and materials about chrysotile.
Entrepreneur support
New entrepreneurs should look at the site of the Business Incubator of Tajikistan in Dushanbe, which describes its services (coworking, training, access to finance), projects, regulations and how to apply for residency. The state institution Dushanbe Fund for Support of Industrial Entrepreneurship promotes industrial entrepreneurship and job creation; its site provides information on the fund, its goals and structure, news, documents and vacancies.
Tenders, procurement and grants
For anyone taking part in procurement there is TENDERS.TJ, a unified procurement information portal with tender announcements filterable by industry, lists of buyers and suppliers, National Bank exchange rates and user registration. Grantender.tj aggregates tenders and grants for Tajikistan: public procurement, procurement by international organizations and grant competitions for NGOs and businesses on one page. Listings are updated daily and link to the original source, with sections by area and donor and a subscription option.
Trade, distribution and holding groups
Distributors usually use their website as a business card for prospective partners. Capital-T imports and sells a wide range of goods throughout Tajikistan and shows a coverage map; Faiza publishes a catalogue and information for those who want to become partners; Sabiha is engaged in wholesale trade of food products and household chemicals; Jiloi Akhtar distributes medical and dental materials from international manufacturers. The Bosch in Tajikistan site covers the Bosch Group's business sectors, products and services.
Diversified groups — FORS Holding, with brands in technology, esports, fitness, food and marketing, and Global Group, which includes a construction firm and the Global Express personal driver service — describe their companies and projects online. Avesto Group carries out projects in various sectors of the economy; its site presents its fields of activity, projects, partners, investor information and news. The management company AVAS Group has subsidiaries in engineering, energy, retail, logistics and mining; its site has company information, news and contacts.
Consulting, law and business services
Accounting and tax services are described on the websites of Chilim Consulting, ICG — International Consulting Group and Tax and Legal Advisers. ICG also helps with company registration and licensing, outsourcing and audit of financial statements, while Tax and Legal Advisers adds legal consulting. Law firm Mushovir assists with registering organisations and prepares contracts and other documents. Information and advisory services are offered by the RIM portal. Pharmiko specialises in registering medicines, medical equipment, cosmetics and dietary supplements. Pawnshop chain Normandika offers short-term loans and jewellery appraisal and storage, and publishes the price of a gram of gold.
Digital services help automate internal processes. FaceID is a face-based time and attendance system: lateness, overtime and attendance are counted automatically and pushed into iiko and 1C. Taminot is a B2B procurement-automation platform for restaurants and cafés with iiko integration: requests, supplier orders, goods receiving, invoices and analytics in one place. Small shops may find Daftar useful: a mobile app for tracking customer debts that records debts and payments, sends SMS reminders to customers and provides reports.
How to choose the right site
- Define your task: finding a supplier, a distribution partner, a consultant or a business community.
- Check whether the site has a catalogue, cooperation terms or a request form — it saves time on correspondence.
- For consulting, compare the list of services: accounting, tax, audit, registration, legal matters.
- If a partner's business reputation matters, look at programmes such as EGUM, where you can verify a certificate.
